This month marks 2 years since I joined REST Renewable Energy Services Team. What a ride it's been! I'm really grateful for all the opportunities and progress I've made so far, and I'm excited for what's to come. Before REST, I found it difficult to feel comfortable in a workplace and felt boxed in. I've always wanted to challenge myself, but in most places, it seemed like senior managers had set up barriers that were impossible to break through because of my age and who I am. But at REST, it's been different. I've never felt held back or like I didn't belong. Age is just a number, and I'm proud to have proved all the doubters wrong about my capabilities. Starting as a Booking Agent and being quickly promoted to the Call Centre Manager based purely on my own performance within the company, with no previous management or call centre experience apart from REST, was definitely a big and intimidating step. However, I owe a massive thank you to Hassan Abdalla for all the trust, opportunities, lessons, and support he's given me. He's always pushed me to be the best version of myself, and I'm forever grateful for that.🤝🏽 I'm thrilled to be part of the company's growth. Since taking over, I've managed to rebuild the team, bring back motivation, and set new daily records in the booking office. And I'm only getting started. There are more targets to exceed, and I'm determined to be the best Call Centre Manager I can be. And of course, I couldn't have done any of this without the support from Michael Britcher, Raihan Kazi, Andy McDonnell (LLB) and Alexander Zalewski. You guys are my rock in the workplace and I couldn’t thank you all enough for the endless help and support!
